Jodi is co-owner of Music Contact International with her husband Manfred Hilker. She started traveling overseas early and at age 14 spent 6 weeks in Greece and at 17 backpacked around Europe for 2 months.
She has been travelling ever since. She graduated of Barnard College in New York City where she studied Art History and spent a semester in Salzburg, Austria where she secured fluency in German.
Since founding the company in 1987, she continues to love working with performance groups and the opportunity to share in their performance travel experiences. When not working, Jodi enjoys spending time with family, work on raising funds for supporting women’s issues in developing nations and being in the outdoors by running, skiing or hiking.
Jodi met her husband, Manfred Hilker while sailing on a three-mast Schooner on the Baltic Sea in North Germany and together they have Sidney 21 and Lucas 17.
