  • 8:15a Welcome to France!

    Upon arrival in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport, collect your luggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall where you will be greeted by your Music Contact International tour manager.
  • 10:00a Together, board your private motor coach and begin exploring the magnificent city of Paris, on a guided tour. During the tour, see some of the most famous Parisian landmarks, including the twelfth-century cathedral Notre Dame de Paris on the Île de la Cité, the nineteenth century Eiffel Tower and the Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe.
  • 1:00p Following your tour, enjoy time on your own for lunch. Your tour manager will be happy to make suggestions!
  • 2:30p After lunch, visit Opera Garnier with your local guide.
  • 4:30p Transfer to your centrally located hotel.

    Check in, take some time to settle in and refresh after your long journey.

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel dining room.
  • 8:30a Check out of the hotel and board your motor coach and depart for Normandy.
  • 11:30p Make a stop in Giverny, the town where well-known Impressionist painter, Claude Monet lived at the end of his life. Take some time, stretch your legs, and explore the Fondation Monet.

    While in Giverny, take time for a quick lunch.
  • 1:15p Depart Giverny for Rouen, the capital of Upper Normandy that was once one of the most prosperous cities in medieval Europe.
  • 3:45p Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of Rouen; see the Old Town, Le Gros Horloge, or “Great Clock,” a Gothic belfry and clock face installed on an archway over a gate in the city’s ancient Roman walls. Admire St. Ouen’s Abbey and the Church of Saint-Maclou, two stunning Gothic style churches with imposing spires. The Rouen Cathedral, crowned by the highest spire in France.
  • 9:00p Following your tour, transfer to your chateau hotel, check in, refresh, and settle into your new surroundings.

  • 10:30a Upon arrival, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the Normandy Beaches, the historic site of Operation Overlord, also known as, D-Day. See Omaha Beach, DDay’s most intensely fought after beach.

    Enjoy free time for lunch in one of Normandy’s coastal towns.
  • 4:30p Following lunch, visit the Caen Memorial, a museum dedicated to peace.
  • 6:30p Tonight, enjoy free time for dinner in Caen. Your tour manager will be pleased to make suggestions!
  • 9:30p Depart for the hotel.

  • This morning have breakfast in the hotel dining room. Enjoy the morning at leisure in Bricquebec. You may want to explore the surrounding shops and cafés.
  • 12:00p Meet in the hotel lobby and depart for Caen.

    Upon arrival, enjoy time for lunch and personal adventures in Caen.
  • 4:45p Meet at the bus and transfer to Caen University.

    Once at Caen University you will have time to change into concert attire and to rehearse.
  • 6:00p Voices in Harmony will perform an evening friendship concert with the Orchestre of the Caen University and the “multi-ages choir” of Caen University.

    Tonight's performance is an Aperitif concert with the Orchestre of the University and the choir multi-ages in occasion of the 60th birthday of the reconstruction of the University of Caen on the theme “Fête de toutes les Musiques” (Fest of all sorts of music.)
  • 8:30p There will be time for socializing and getting to know the Caen singers.

    Tonight, enjoy dinner in Caen individually at one of the many restaurants.
  • 10:30p Transfer back to Bricquebec for the night.

  • Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning.
  • 9:00a Depart the hotel for Honfleur.
  • 11:30a Upon arrival, enjoy time on your own to walk through the city center and the cobbled quays and alleyways and along the harbor. Make a stop for lunch in one of the restaurants and bistros.
  • 2:00p After lunch, enjoy a guided walking tour of Honfleur, a sleepy harbor town, virtually unchanged for over 400 years. See where the Seine River begins and the colorful fishing boats moored just steps away from cafés and shops.
  • 3:30p Following your tour, explore the many galleries in the small fishing town that have been an inspiration for many artists.
  • 5:30p Board the motor coach, and depart Honfleur for the hotel.
  • 8:30p Tonight, a festive farewell dinner will be served to your group at the hotel. There will be ample time to recount the highlights of the tour.
